1. Do you offer financing?
We do not provide direct financing at this time. Each owner is responsible for obtaining their own financing. However, we can put you in contact with a lender that will help you through the process of obtaining financial assistance.
2. Can I be successful without knowledge of the wireless industry?
We equip you with all the necessary tools necessary for a successful business owner. Once we put everything in place for you it's a simple task to run your business. By the time your intense training program is complete you will have more knowledge than most of your competitors. We've trained hundreds of employees who started out new just like you!
3. How do I locate a retail location?
Core Biz Developers Inc. will find your location for you, unless you have already located one. We do complete market research once you have signed a contract with our company. This research takes into consideration traffic counts, competition, demographics, analyzing curb appeal, ingress, egress, linear sq. footage, visibility, anchors and more. This is what we do best and a key to your success!
4. Do I receive training?
Yes. We will provide complete training on our sales approach.
5. Do I receive assistance in opening my store?
We build out your entire store for you. We don’t just guide you. We do it! Every step of the way. We also write your advertisements and include in our pricing your initial grand opening advertising.
6. Do you offer on going support?
Yes. For a nominal fee we offer on going support via phone and e-mail. Additionally we are available for hire as consultants when needed.
7. What do I name my store?
You have the freedom to name your store whatever you like. This is one nice thing about our program you are not held to the strict guidelines of a franchise.
8. Can I buy out an entire market?
Yes, we have a program set up for that.
9. Where do I purchase inventory?
We will provide a list of vendors from whom we have purchased inventory in our past retail ventures. We even help set up the accounts for you.
10. What about advertising?
For the first 60 days we will help you write your ads for print media advertising. We save you money by informing you on what works. Many advertising pieces simply are a waste of money. Inexperienced business owners lose a lot of money by being fooled into not so effective advertising gimmicks.
11. Is the market saturated?
No, there is still plenty of market penetration left in the U.S. Business is booming!
12. What about corporate competition?
You have an advantage over the corporate stores in that their prices are fixed by the corporate offices often located out of state or even out of country. You can sell lower than their advertised price.
13. How much money will I make?
Your success ultimately depends on you, your ability to absorb the information, location, advertising and market conditions. We have calculated pro-forma projections for you to review.
14. Are you a franchise?
No, Core Biz Developers Inc. is a business opportunity. We are set up as business developers and consultants focused on the wireless industry.
15. Can I sell other products in my store?
You have the option to sell many other products through our vendors However, we do recommend that you stay focused on the core products of your business.
16. Why should I do business with you instead of just doing it on my own?
It’s possible that you could save a little money doing it yourself in the beginning, but you will spend far more going out of business. We are experts in the industry. We have a system that works. Core Biz Developers eliminates or at least minimizes the headaches of starting a new business.
17. Can I be an absentee owner?
You can be an absentee owner if you wish. We recommend an active owner. As with any business the presence of the owner is a key ingredient to being successful. If you’re not going to be present on a regular basis, we highly recommend a key manager be hired and trained.
18. How long does it take to build out my store?
It takes only a few weeks to build out your store, but with the time to set-up the relationship with your vendors, systems, training, and municipalities you can expect approximately six weeks from the time you sign a lease. You most likely won’t have to pay rent until you open.
19. Will the revenues come straight to me?
Yes, Core Biz Developers doesn’t act as a clearing house in any way. The contracts are set-up directly between you and the vendors. The checks will be cut directly to you. You will have all of the control.
20. Do you charge a royalty or a percentage of sales?
No, unlike the competition we charge no royalties or percentages of sales or commissions. Again, some of our competitors charge as much as 13% of your commissions, which equals approximately half of your net profits.
21. How much additional operating capital will I need above my initial investment?
It has been our experience that you will need to have approximately $25k in operating expenses. Though, you will make money from day one it takes approximately 6 weeks to receive a commission check. So, you will need these funds to operate meantime.
22. What size of retail space will need to be leased to operate this type of business?
The ideal store would be approximately 800-1400 sq ft. Though, it would make sense to take on a bigger space if the demographics, traffic count, and linear sq. footage were appealing. Prime real estate is a key ingredient to success. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
23. Is there any help to offset advertising expenses?
With our most recent agreements we’ve made with vendors, we have negotiated co-op advertising funds based on sales volume that will help to offset advertising expenses.
24. How will I compete with internet pricing?
The World Wide Web is all together different. Your retail store will not have to compete with internet pricing. We don’t want to turn away this viable side of the business. Core Biz Developers will build you a fully e-commerce site with the most competitive pricing in the industry. You do not have to maintain the site. We do it all for you. Just track your sales and commissions through the reports administration page.
25. What are normal hours of operation?
Feel free to adjust hours as you see fit. The typical retail store is open M-F 10-8 , Sat 10-6, Sun 12-5. Many stores are closed on Sunday. We recommend being open to gain all of this business that’s being turned away
26. How many employees will I need to run my store?
We train our employees to be multi-taskful which allows us to reduce the number of employees at any given time. Two employees are more than enough to run a successful business with an absentee owner.
